Profile
Dr. Warren J DiBiase is an Associate Professor of science education. His teaching responsibilities involve the preparation of middle/secondary science teachers at the graduate and undergraduate level. DiBiase is a past chair of the department. His other responsibilities include teaching an undergraduate course in Science, Technology and Society; a graduate level course in secondary education and serving as the program director for the Graduate Teaching Certificate program as well as the MAT.
Dr. DiBiase has been very involved with the with the Association of Science Teacher Educators (ASTE-{ formerly the AETS}). DiBiase’s service to this organization involved serving: as a committee member on various committees; on the Board of Directors; on the Executive Committee; as president elect and vice president; and a term of president of the international organization.
Dr. DiBiase’s research interest focuses on the teaching and learning of science, especially those learning episodes taught by inquiry.
